Regulations for the use of research laboratories out of working hours and on weekends
  1. The computers in the research laboratory may only be used by the staff and students of Hacettepe University Department of Geomatics Engineering. Unauthorized individuals are strictly prohibited from entering the research laboratories and using their facilities.

  2. Students acknowledge that they have read and agreed to comply with the rules published by the Information Technologies Department (https://bidb.hacettepe.edu.tr/).

  3. Research laboratories will be open to department students only during working hours on weekdays.

  4. Undergraduate and graduate students who wish to use the department laboratories out of working hours on weekdays or on weekends must complete a "Laboratory Usage Permit" request form, which can be obtained from the department secretary.

  5. The request form must be signed by the academic staff responsible for the course, project, or assignment related to the laboratory work out of working hours or on weekends. The signed request form must then be submitted to the department secretary. After submission, the entrance key to the department will be handed over to the student. Each student intending to use the laboratory as part of a joint course/project/assignment must fill out the request form, have it signed by the relevant academic staff, and submit it to the department secretary. The key will be handed over to only one student.

  6. The student receiving the research laboratory and department entrance keys agrees not to duplicate them or hand them over to anyone else.

  7. Students commit to using the research laboratories only on the days and hours specified in their request form.

  8. No food or beverages, except water, may be consumed inside the laboratory.

  9. At the end of use, all laboratory equipment, furnishings, and materials must be left in their original positions.

  10. No damage shall be caused to any laboratory equipment, furnishings, or materials.

  11. Students are responsible for backing up their work. The department is not liable for any lost or stolen data.

  12. In the computer laboratory, students must not engage in any disruptive behavior, make noise, speak loudly, use the space for socializing instead of studying, or talk on mobile phones.

  13. Upon leaving the laboratory, students must ensure that all lights and windows are closed, and that all electrical devices are properly secured. They must also lock the laboratory door.

  14. Upon leaving the department, students must ensure that all common area lights are turned off and that the department entrance door is locked.

  15. After completing their laboratory work, students must return the department entrance key and, if applicable, the laboratory key to the department secretary as soon as possible.
